Welcome to Littlehampton Swimming Club

Established in 1983, we offer training and competition in a friendly and supportive environment to swimmers age 5+. We train at Littlehampton Swimming Centre, Arun Leisure Centre and Arena Sports Centre, Bognor.

We run our swim school (iSwim) for children age 4+ at pools in Worthing and Lancing.

  • Annual Award Winners Announced!

  • ESSA Primary School Relay Champions National Final

    Congratulations to the boys team from West Park School, which included Will Le Merle and Ollie Hodges from Littlehampton SC. The team won Silver in both the Freestyle and Medley relays at the National Final in Sheffield on Saturday 21st June and won the overall Top Boys Team Trophy!


  • National Qualifying Time for Lewis!

    Congratulations to 13yr old Lewis Smart on achieving his first National Qualifying Time today in the 100 breaststroke at Aldershot!


  • 2014 National Dwarf Games

    11 year old Georgie Howell, a S6 swimmer, competed in the National Dwarf Games in Birmingham over the May Bank Holiday weekend. Despsite going up an age group this year to the U14, Georgie still won one Gold and three Silver Medals! Congratulations Georgie!


  • SER Youth Championships

    Congratulations to all our qualifiers: Will Jagger, Jess Frayne, Harry James, Sam Munro, Caleb Grace, James Fairlie, Nic Savill, and Ella Porter. Will unfortunately couldn't swim due to injury. 3 club records were broken by Ella, James and Nic. Caleb (S14) won Gold in his 100m fly. Well done to all!


  • Sussex County Championships

    Congratulations to everyone on a superb County Championships. Full report will be in the newsletter, but special mention must go to double Championship winner Will Jagger who won the 200m and 400m Freestyle Championship. Also to our BAGCat winner William Le Merle who is top 10yr old boy. The Club records have been updated - 34 were swum at the Championships!


  • Swim 21

    We are Swim 21 accredited! Over the last few months we have been working to gain our Swim 21 accreditation - a quality mark for swimming clubs. Click the title for further information.


  • Sussex County Record for Matt James!

    Matt James, a member of Littlehampton SC since 1999, who swims for Birmingham University term-time, has broken the Sussex Men's Open Short Course 200m Breaststroke Record in a superb time of 2:17.66 on 07/12/13 in the British Universities SC Championships, Sheffield. Fantastic - well done Matt!


  • National Qualifying Time for Will!

    Congratulations to Will Jagger on achieving his first NQT in the 100m freestyle this weekend (17th Nov) in the Crawley Level 1 Open Meet.


  • Littlehampton Town Sports Awards

    Littlehampton Swimming Club are named 'Youth Sports Team of the Year' for the second year in a row! It was our Sussex League success that clinched the title. Club Captains Frankie Harrison, Ella Porter and Tom Jefferis received the trophy on behalf of the team at the awards ceremony at the Coco Lounge. Our open men's relay team won 'Sports Team of the Year', Will Jagger represented them. Our treasurer Bernadette Condron won 'Administrator of the Year', whilst Keith Hunter won the 'Contribution to Youth Sport' award. Congratulations TEAM LITTLEHAMPTON!


  • Nationals 2013

    A huge congratulations to Jess Frayne on a fantastic first Nationals. Swimming in the first heat of the 50m freestyle event, Jess swam a huge pb in a time of 27.17s to make the semi-finals! A superb performance - well done Jess!
